5b and 5d went to Botanical garden. First Mrs. Kaur gave us a name tag and then we went on the bus. When we got there we had morning tea. Next group three went with the parent helpers on the self guided tour. I think I remember the names of the trees we saw. They are Rimu, Totara, Silver fern, Five fingers and Puriri. Then we had lunch after that group three went to the class room. Group three went for a hunt under some native trees but first we went to Pohutukawa then others like Para. And there was two confusing cousines - Manuka and Kanuka. Manuka stands for mean and Kanuka stands for kind. Then we went on the bus and left for school.

had lots of fun with my friends.

On Friday we had a disco. when I got there I had a hot dog then I went looking for my friends. When I found them I got a drink. After that I sat down and I was just listening to the music. Then I was dancing for about five minutes then I got another drink. Then after I finished my drink I bought another hot dog when I finished my hot dog then the disco was over and my picked my up from the back of the hall.

My holiday recount
In the holidays I went to a camp called camp raglan it is in raglan.It is also the best camp in New Zealand it is a lot of fun there If you go there in autumn,winter or spring you can come on the second week you can go to Winaro. we have lots of activities to do every day but my favorite thing there was that we get to sing to god and worship him pray to him.My favorite activity is the quad bikes you get to ride the quad bikes by your self around three laps but if it's your first time there you ride on a big quad bike with junior leader or a leader at the back of the quad bike to make sure that you are safe and that you don't fall of them but if you do fall of you will always have a big helmet on so you don't heart your head.
